Pearl Christine Jackson
April 29, 1916 - December 15, 2003
Mrs. Jackson was born April 29, 1916 in Ritchey, MO to James George Washington Pressley and Mildred Martha Fletcher Pressley. She was a member of Redwood Holiness Church, rural Sarcoxie. She married William Henry "Bill" Jackson June 08, 1934 in Carthage, Jasper County, Missouri and they enjoyed 50 years of marriage before he passed away on August 18, 1984.
She was also preceded in death by her oldest son, Henry Eugene Jackson, and one daughter, Wilma Priest. Her granddaughter, Teresa Jackson Umstattd, also predeceased her.
Survivors include three sons; Jerry Jackson of Kent, Washington, Donald Jackson of Sarcoxie, and Robert Jackson of Sequim, Washington; two daughter, Glenda Reel of Olympia, Washington, and Nancy Jackson of Seattle, Washington. She is also survived by two sisters, Hattie Turner of Sarcoxie, and Opal Brigman of Granby, Missouri, as well as 19 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30am Thursday, December 18, 2003 at Van Buren Cemetery, south of Sarcoxie.
