Henry Eugene Jackson was born January 02, 1936 in Ritchie, Newton County, Missouri, the oldest child of William Henry and Pearl Christine (Presley) Jackson's seven children. The other children are Wilma, Glenda, Jerry, Nancy, Donald, and Robert.  Sister Wilma was killed in a car accident in the 1970's, but his other siblings still survive him.

He married Lavena Irene Hendrix on August 26, 1954 in Port Angeles, Washington and over the years they had eight children of their own. 

He passed away October 06, 1995 in Sarcoxie, Jasper County, Missouri.
