Patricia Huenemoerder June 11, 1922 - June 6, 2008

Huenemoerder, age 85, of Appleton, entered into rest on Friday, June 6, 2008
at her home. Born June 11, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the
late Harry Heilman and Katheryn Clark (nee Smith) Kline. Patricia had attended Adelphi College in Garden City, Long Island, NY in 1940 and 1941. She married the late Harold C. Huenemoerder September 7, 1946 on Long Island, NY. He died May 13,1989. She had worked at Newfane Central Schools as a librarian for 22 years, working at Olcott, Newfane Elementary and Newfane Junior High Schools. Patricia was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lyndonville and was also a member of their Ladies Aid Society. She was also a member of the Barker Senior Citizens. Pat enjoyed playing organ every Wednesday, liked to do counted cross-stitch and was an avid bird watcher, belonging to the Feeder Watch Program for Cornell. Flower gardening was also a passion. She is survived by her loving children: John (Anne Carlton) Huenemoerder of Pavilion, NY, Clark (Lynn Pembroke) of Houston, TX, Patricia (Reid) Fitzsimons of Honduras, David (Leeann Simons) Huenemoerder of Auburndale, MA, and Bill (Becky Coder) Huenemoerder of Appleton; dear grandmother of: Victoria Clark, Joanne Dohse, Sarah Tonzi, Amy Corneau, Mistina Huenemoerder, Joshua Corneau, Jeffrey Huenemoerder, Seth Simons, Laurie Larkin, Jason Cleveley, Carlos Rivera and the late: Laurel Huenemoerder; great-grandmother of: Paige Gagliardi, Jack Tonzi, twins Cole and Addison Tonzi, Sean and Sara Larkin and Alexis Cleveley. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Avenue, Newfane, on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 10213 Roosevelt Highway, Lyndonville, NY 14098 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Craig Rhodenizer officiating. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery, Gasport, NY. Memorials appreciated to St. John's Lutheran Church. |
